This set comes with Joshamee Gibbs card and have a code at the back of it. The poster on the other hand is rather big compare to the other sets that I have reviewed.
I suppose Jack Sparrow do not have any new expression but Joshamee Gibbs surprise expression looks rather good.
Content
There are four separately packed bricks and each bag were numbered. The instruction books, poster and card are packed separately in a plastic bag to prevent them being crumpled. To download the instructions, please click: Book1 / Book2

Accessories
Below are the accessories that comes with the set and the new brown gold bar and new coins have been replaced with two set of gold coating coins. I guess this is the alternate parts.Minifigs
Here's the minifigs lining up in one line. The soldier and the horse coach is reusing some old minifigs head while I like the Joshamee Gibbs very much. All of the minifigs got both side of their torso printed.I suppose Jack Sparrow do not have any new expression but Joshamee Gibbs surprise expression looks rather good.
Barrel of Rum and Table
Here's some extra given to decorate the interior of the tavern yourself. The new bottle is still my favorite accessories in PotC theme.Horse Carriage
This carriage is the one that transport the rich lady I suppose, but too bad, we are not provided with the minifig but just an empty carriage which tile interior and no place to sit. There are clippers right behind the coach seat that carries whip and musket. The back of the carriage carries a treasure chest. You can see there is lamp right beside the door on both side of the carriage as wellMoving to the feature of the carriage, first and foremost, is the rotatable wheel and horse position. This carriage is more flexible when it make its turn.
The carriage door can be open and close and it fit the minifigs in standing position but the interior is all cover with tile, so we cannot attach the minifig on it.
There is also a playability on the roof whereby you get to catapult your minifig by pressing hard one of the end.
Coal Carriage
This must be the carriage that Jack jump to and caught fire after that when the soldier shoot at him. There are place to hold the accessories like whip and spade and a torch on the other side. Looks great too, and the playability is quite creative too.And to the playability, the horse can change position when you feel like turning the carriage, but the front wheel is fix unlike the first carriage which can rotate.
The coal really can goes on fire, all we need to do is to switch the position of the coal, one without fire and one with fire with just turn it upside.
Now picture of two carriage with minifigs on them. . .
Tavern
The tavern is rather empty at the back, but at least there is a little stuff at the back and is a double storey tavern. You might want to get two set to join them so it is cover with four walls. Somehow when they design it this way, you to see a bit of the interior. We got a printed piece over here and working door that open and close.
Here's a shot of the interior for the upper floor of the tavern. There is a mouse, bucket and a picture of a ship. Also the hidden door are place at the side of the lower floor. At first I thought this door is specially made for you to reload the falling barrels.
Anyway, this is the falling barrels trap which is place right beside the secret door. It falls off easily sometimes especially when you move it.
Extra pieces
Here are the leftovers after we are done with the set.Completed model
In my humble opinion I think this set is another great set to have although it looks a little ugly in the box art. So is recommended for you guys to get a set although most of the minifigs here are useless.Playability: 8/10 I like the way they implement the playability.
Building experience: 5/10 Have to build the carriage alike twice.
Parts:7/10 You get a few dark green parts, horses and others.
Value for money: 5/10 I think the price is average for this much of pieces and playability.
Overall: 6/10 Like the way they design the carriage and the exterior of the tavern, plus with two horses and five minifigs, is good to have one.
