Accessories

Minifigs
We got Infernox the red magma monster and a miner. Just like the old monster,Infernox can open the mouth widely and eat the crystal.

. .

The miner, got both side of his torso printed (but was block by the armor) and leg printed too. He also have double expression.

. .

Claw Catcher
The Claw Catcher looks good too. Although it looks bulky, but it is very light. Below are the pictures:

. . . .

The cockpit are very fitting with only one steering.

Here's the view from the cockpit:

Below are some added details, which is the headlights and the engine.

. .

There are a small storage box on both side at the back of vehicle.

. .

Here's the water tank to kill the magma monster (there is a cover, which also use as a reflector for the magma monster to bounce inside the tank) and also the giant wheels which are not a new thing in Power Miners line.

. . .

Now to the claw, which can catch the magma monster and toss it to the water tank behind. The claw are made from Vikings sea serpent head. To operate it, we have to pull the green technic bar behind fast. The shot might not be accurate sometimes.

. .

Below are some shot of the claw function after pulling the bar.

Extra pieces
We are given a lot of extra parts for this set.

Extras

Completed model
I would say this is a nice vehicle to me as I like bulky stuff. Plus the function is somewhat new to me, which is grab the monster and toss it. The designer must have work on it for sometimes so that it can toss it right.

.

Playability: 10/10 Grab and toss functions.
Design : 10/10 Detailed engine and headlights.
Price : 6/10 Is quite expensive for this one.
Overall: 8/10 Nice minifigs, great function, great design.

We get a trans-orange crystal only from this set. No dynamite. While on the right are the armor which are alike with the Agents one, just without printing and metallic in color which is pretty cool.

Minifigs
We got Firax the orange magma monster and a miner. Just like the old monster, Firax can open the mouth widely and eat the crystal.

. .

The miner, got both side of his torso printed (but was block by the armor) and leg printed too. He also have double expression.

. .

Again, they are great figures.

Magma Mech
The Magma Mech are a little limited with the articulation. But anyway, below are the pictures taken from different angle.

Now to the mech leg, the articulation is lacking as compare to Exo-Force where the knee can bend.

Leg

As for the claw, it's pretty flimsy. Once you adjust the arm, the loose claw will automatically extend itself, more like fall off as there is nothing to hold it

Claw Claw 1

And for the right arm, it is some sort of water pump, mostly use to freeze the naughty magma monster. The driller piece can twist.

Pump

And here is the water tank attach at the back of the mech.

Water Tank

The cockpit is fun, but the handle are a little difficult to be attach to the minifig. I bought this set for the cockpit as I'm eager to know removable bar function.
