content . .

To see what's inside the instruction booklet, please visit HERE.

Accessories
We get three minifigs gear here which is lightsaber, binocular and a spear for Thi-sen.

.

Minifigs
Actually both the minifigs in this set are new. Anakin in new outfit and double printed head while Thi-sen with the new head piece. Both the minifigs actually looks good.

.
. .

While below here shows the faces of Anakin, which on your left is the usual Anakin face that we get and on your right is the one covered with goggle and cloth.
. .

Freeco Speeder
The Freeco Speeder is something new that we see in the Clone Wars, but anyway the design are quite accurate, because the cockpit are not fully covered. TLG might need to make a new mold if they want the cockpit fully covered.

.
. . . .

Now to the cockpit. The windscreen can be open and it is not fully covered where there are some hole at the bottom on both side. The windscreen can't fully close too.

. .

At the back of the seat there is this compartment where you can store a box which is used to store the binocular and the lightsaber of Anakin. However, you have to dismantle the lightsaber before you store it. You have to remove that white part to do that.

Here's a random shot that I took, which is one of the thruster.

.

Extra pieces
There are seven extra pieces left after we done assembling the Freeco Speeder.

.

Completed model
This vehicle does not include much of a function, just the windscreen that open and the storage at the back. Other details are added using stickers.

.

Playability: 4/10 In my own opinion, there's actually no playability.
Design : 6/10 Quite an accurate design and sticker added details.
Price : 4/10 Is expensive here.
Overall: 5/10 New minifigure, a good design of the speeder and no playability.

. . .

Accessory
We get a lightsaber with metallic hilt compare to the other two set, which is grey in colour.

.

Minifigs
Most of us already have Plo Koon from Republic Gunship, and the only minifig we want from this set is R7-D4, the brown Astromech Droid.

Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter
Is a little disappointed that the slope piece are not printed but instead sticker. However, the republic emblem are printed.

.
. . . .

You can see one black button right below the cockpit for you to push so you can kill Plo Koon. ^^

I suppose this are blaster cannon that are placed on both side at the front and there's the printed republic emblem.

.

Like the other Jedi Starfighter, this one have landing gear too.

.

Finally, there are stud for you to attach your astromech droid.

drd compartment drd compartment 1

The cockpit are a little different from the other two which is there is no printed monitor, all are sticker added details and Plo Koon are not attached but instead sit on a technic pin which you can push to eject him out of the cockpit.

At the side of the cockpit is a holder for his lightsaber, wonder why on earth Plo Koon place his lightsaber outside the fighter.

Extra pieces
We left only two pieces of bricks after assembling the starfighter.

.

Completed model
All three starfighter are differently design by TLG and all three have different functions. Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter actually not bad, just that there are too many sticker added details.

cmplt

Playability: 8/10 New eject function.
Design : 8/10 Too many sticker added details.
Price : 4/10 Is expensive here.
Overall: 7/10 New function, new fig but different design from the previous two JSF.

LEGO Star Wars #7751 Ahsoka's Jedi Starfighter & Vulture Droid Review

Theme: Star Wars
Name: Ahsoka's Jedi Starfighter & Vulture Droid
S/N: #7751
Year: 2009
Pieces: 291
Minifig: 4
Price: RM-, SGD-, USD39.99, GBP31.29

Box
There's no two version of box for this set. The front of the box shows not only the box art itself but also the minifigs included in this set. The side shows us the scale of the minifigs and the back shows us the functions that each of these vehicles possesses.

.
. .

Content
We get a instruction booklet, a sticker sheet and four packs of bricks. This one seems to have more pieces.

. . .

You can download the instruction HERE.

Accessory
Again, we just get a lightsaber, sufficient for Ahsoka use.

.

Minifigs
What I can say here is that, there are only two minifigs (R7-A7 and Ahsoka) that I approve while the other two are just made out of bricks. Below are the pictures:

.
. . .

I got to say the Buzz Droid are oversize, TLG should came up with a smaller version.

Ahsoka's Jedi Starfighter
One thing I like about this starfighter is that the front pieces are printed and they look pretty nice. I should say that this is the pros of this set.

.
. . . .
There is a button underneath the rear of the fighter, and it is for you to push it to shoot the missile.

It got blaster cannon on both side at the front too but the republic emblem is sticker and not printed.

.

Below the starfighter are push-fire missile (that's the function of the set) together with the landing gear.

. . .

The droid compartment are covered with tile, so again, the droid are not attach to the ship and fall off easily if you swoosh around.

. .

The cockpit is just fitting and have a printed monitor just like Anakin's Jedi Starfighter.

.
. . .

Vulture Droid
The Vulture Droid seriously need to be decorated with sticker or else it will be so blue which looks like the picture below.

.
. . . .

Now to the flying position, just split the wing open.

.

and to the landing position, which the head can turn around. Also, the movement is very limited whether you split the wing or change the position due to the flick-fire function.

. .

Flick-fire missile is a very common function for Star Wars theme, but as for this one, you need to split the wing open in order to attach the missiles although it is nice to get an extra function and makes it looks better.

. .

Extra pieces
Here's the leftovers after we constructed both the Jedi Starfighter and the Vulture Droid.

.

Completed model
This set is actually good, if the price are a bit lower. I can't recall the exact local price for this set, but as far as I know, it is very pricey. But now the price drop to RM200 (that's the price I saw at my local TRU) and might further drop.

.

Playability: 10/10 The JSF itself have only push-fire function while the Vulture Droid can change position and has flick-fire function.
Design : 10/10 Nice design for both the vehicle although a little problem with the Vulture Droid.
Price : 4/10 Is expensive here.
Overall: 7/10 There are functions, special figs and nice design, especially the printed part.
